Who we are: Cape Coral Cleaning Service is a locally run house cleaning and maid service. We clean homes, condos, vacation rentals and small offices across Cape Coral, and across the bridges in Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres and Bonita Springs. Most of our clients are on a recurring schedule; the rest book deep cleans, move-outs, rental turnovers and seasonal openings.

Why we started a cleaning company here

Cape Coral is a city of single-story block homes with tile floors, screened lanais and walls of sliding glass, and almost every house has a pool or a canal out back. That combination is easy to live in and surprisingly hard to keep clean. Sand travels in from the pool deck. Ceiling fans run nine months of the year. Glass that faces the water shows every spot. And a big share of homes sit empty for half the year while their owners are up north. Cleaning services built around northern homes, with carpet and radiators and a basement, don’t always get that right. We built ours around the houses here.

The four things we promise

  1. The same crew. Recurring clients get the same small team every visit. If someone is out, you hear in advance who is coming instead.
  2. A written checklist. Every visit follows the same room-by-room list, and you can see it on our homepage. Nothing depends on memory or mood.
  3. One flat price. You know the cost before the crew arrives, and it doesn’t grow because a visit ran long.
  4. A re-clean if we miss a spot. Tell us within 24 hours and we come back to fix it, at no charge.

How a first visit goes

It starts with a phone call or a text. We ask about the size of the house, the number of bathrooms, pets, flooring, anything delicate, and how often you want us. That’s enough to give you a flat price; for unusual homes or offices we’ll walk through first. On the day, the crew arrives within the window we agreed, introduces themselves, and asks about anything you want done differently. They work top to bottom and dry to wet, so dust from fans and shelves falls onto floors that haven’t been done yet. Before they leave, the crew lead walks the house against the checklist. Afterwards we check in to ask how it went. If something was missed, that’s when you tell us.

Products and the surfaces we look after

We bring everything: vacuums with HEPA filters, microfiber cloths color-coded so the toilet cloth never touches the kitchen, mops, ladders for high fans, and a kit of products. For most surfaces that means pH-neutral cleaners. Natural stone such as marble, travertine and some granites gets stone-safe cleaner only, because acidic products etch it. Hard-water spotting on glass and fixtures gets a descaler, not scouring. If you prefer a particular product, or need fragrance-free cleaning for allergies, leave it out and we’ll use it. If something in the house is unusual, an antique, a specialty floor or an unsealed surface, we ask before we touch it.

Things we won’t do

  • Quote an hourly rate and leave you guessing at the total.
  • Send a different stranger every visit to a recurring home.
  • Use bleach on iron stains, acid on stone, or abrasive pads on glass.
  • Move papers on a desk, open private drawers or touch a safe.
  • Tie you into a contract; you can pause or stop with a couple of days’ notice.
  • Claim to treat mold growing inside walls. That is a job for a licensed remediator, and we’ll say so.

Who calls us

Busy families on an every-other-week schedule. Retirees who would rather spend the morning on the water than on the shower glass. Snowbirds who want the house ready when they land at RSW. Vacation rental owners who live out of state and need eyes on the property after every guest. Landlords and tenants at the end of a lease. Small offices along the Parkway and Del Prado that want the restrooms right every morning. The work differs, but the checklist approach is the same.

Keeping to the schedule, wet season and dry

Cape Coral’s year has two rhythms, and our calendar follows both. From November to April the city fills up, rentals turn over every weekend, and openings and deep cleans stack up before the holidays, so recurring clients keep their slot and one-off work is booked further ahead. From June to November it rains most afternoons and the odd storm closes the bridges or the roads. If weather forces a change, you hear from us the day before, not ten minutes after the crew should have arrived, and the visit moves to the nearest day the same crew can make.

Straight answers

Are you licensed? Florida doesn’t license house cleaning companies, so ask any cleaner how they’re registered and insured. We’re happy to share the details. Are you insured? Ask for the certificate before the first visit and it will be emailed to you. Where do you work? All of Cape Coral, plus Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres and Bonita Springs on scheduled days. What does it cost? Typical ranges are on the price guide; your own price is one flat number.

The family behind the crews

The business is owned by a married couple who set it up in Cape Coral in 2022 and still run it day to day, from quoting to checking in after a first clean. It has grown by referral: neighbors who liked the work told neighbors, and in 2025 and again in 2026 local residents voted it one of the city’s top cleaning companies. Where a product suits the surface, the crews reach for Green Seal-certified cleaners, and every vacuum that comes into your home has a HEPA filter, which matters in a city where pollen and lanai dust never fully go away.
