In short: a deep clean covers everything in a standard visit plus the places a regular clean skips: inside the oven and fridge, baseboards by hand, blinds, door frames, fan blades, grout and the inside of windows and slider tracks. In Cape Coral it typically costs $220–$320 for a 2/2, $280–$420 for a 3/2 and $380–$550 for a 4/3, as estimates. It usually takes a crew most of a day.

When a deep clean is the right call
- Before starting recurring service. It gets the home to a level that a regular visit can then hold.
- After a long gap. Six months without a professional clean is about where buildup stops coming off with a quick wipe.
- Before family arrives for the season, or before you list the house.
- After work in the house. A new floor or a kitchen refresh leaves fine dust on every flat surface for weeks.
Deep clean vs. regular clean
| Area | Regular visit | Deep clean adds |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen | Counters, sink, stovetop, fronts | Inside the oven and fridge, range hood, cabinet faces scrubbed |
| Bathrooms | Shower, toilet, vanity, mirrors | Grout scrubbed, glass descaled, exhaust fan cover, behind the toilet |
| Dusting | Reachable surfaces and fans | Blinds slat by slat, door frames, light fixtures, vents |
| Floors and trim | Vacuum and mop | Baseboards hand-washed, corners and edges detailed |
| Glass | Spot-clean sliders | Interior windows, sills and slider tracks vacuumed and wiped |
Where the time goes in a Cape home
Three things eat the hours on most deep cleans here. First, the slider and window tracks: sand from the pool deck, dead bugs and grit settle in them and have to be vacuumed out, then wiped, before the doors run smoothly again. Second, shower glass and fixtures, where mineral spotting builds into a cloudy layer that needs a descaler and patience rather than more scrubbing. Third, ceiling fans and blinds. Fans in Florida run most of the year, so the dust on them is thick and slightly greasy near the kitchen. We bring ladders for high fans and cathedral ceilings.
How to get the most from the visit
Clear counters and floors of loose items the night before so the crew spends its time cleaning rather than moving things. Empty the fridge of anything that has expired, since we clean it but won’t make decisions about your food. Tell us about natural stone, unsealed grout, or any surface you’re unsure of, and we’ll stick to products that are safe for it. If you have pets, a closed room or a crate keeps everyone calmer.
About these figures: deep cleaning prices on this page are estimates drawn from local and national cost data. A home that hasn’t been cleaned in a year, or one with heavy pet hair, sits at the top of the range or above it. Your quote is a single number agreed before we start.
Deep cleaning questions
How long does a deep clean take?
A 3 bed, 2 bath home usually takes a two- or three-person crew five to seven hours. Larger homes or heavy buildup can run into a second visit, which we tell you about when quoting.
Do you move furniture during a deep clean?
We move light furniture to clean under and behind it. Heavy pieces like beds, dressers and sectionals are cleaned around, unless you ask us to move them and someone can help.
Is the inside of the oven really included?
Yes, in a deep clean. Racks are soaked and scrubbed, and the interior is degreased. Self-clean ash is wiped out too.
Can a deep clean get rid of mold?
We clean surface mildew in showers and on window sills. Mold growing inside walls or ceilings, or spreading over a large area, is a job for a licensed mold remediator, and we’ll tell you if that’s what we see.
