In short: house cleaning in Cape Coral typically costs $120–$160 per visit for a 2 bed, 2 bath home on an every-other-week schedule, and $140–$190 for a 3/2. A one-time deep clean of a 3/2 runs about $280–$420, a move-out clean $300–$450, and a vacation rental turnover $90–$140 for a small condo. All figures are estimates; your price is one flat number once we know the home.
Regular house cleaning (every other week)
| Home | Per visit | What moves it |
|---|---|---|
| 2 bed / 2 bath condo or villa (about 1,200–1,500 sq ft) | $120–$160 | Pets, flooring, how lived-in |
| 3 bed / 2 bath home (about 1,800–2,200 sq ft) | $140–$190 | Bathroom count, glass, lanai |
| 4 bed / 3 bath home (about 2,500–3,000 sq ft) | $180–$250 | Rooms in use, stairs, pets |
Weekly service usually works out 10–15% cheaper per visit than every other week, because each visit is lighter. Monthly is usually 15–25% more per visit. A first visit, or any one-off clean, tends to run 30–50% above the regular rate.

What moves the price on a Cape Coral home
- Bathrooms more than bedrooms. A bathroom takes three or four times as long as a bedroom, so a 3/3 costs noticeably more than a 3/2 of the same size.
- Pets. Shedding dogs on tile floors add vacuuming and mopping time on every visit.
- Glass. Pool homes often have a wall of sliders and big windows facing the lanai. Glass looks easy and isn’t.
- Condition on day one. The first clean prices the buildup; later visits price only upkeep.
- Frequency. The more often we come, the less there is to do each time.
- Access. Gated communities, condo parking and second-floor units with no elevator add time at the start and end of a visit.
Why Cape Coral cleaning quotes disagree
Three quotes for the same house can differ by more than $100 because they describe different visits. An hourly quote from a solo cleaner looks low until the hours are added up. A big national franchise may quote a fixed rate but send a different team each time. A low flat price sometimes leaves out the bathrooms’ glass, the baseboards or the lanai. Ask each company the same four things: is the price flat or hourly; does it include supplies; what exactly is on the checklist; and what happens if something is missed. When those answers line up, the prices usually do too.
Ask too whether the company carries liability insurance and whether the people coming are its own staff or independent contractors. Florida doesn’t license house cleaners, but local businesses register to operate, and any established company should be able to show you an insurance certificate.

Price questions
How much is a house cleaning in Cape Coral?
For an every-other-week clean, typically $120–$160 for a 2/2 and $140–$190 for a 3/2, as estimates. One-off and deep cleans cost more because they include the buildup.
Do cleaners charge by the hour or by the job?
Both exist. Independent cleaners often charge hourly; companies usually quote a flat price per visit. We quote flat so the price doesn’t depend on how long the visit takes.
Should I tip my house cleaner?
It is never expected. Many recurring clients give a holiday tip, and some tip after a hard move-out or deep clean.
Is the first clean more expensive?
Usually, yes, by about 30–50% over the regular rate, because it removes the buildup a regular visit never deals with. If the home hasn’t been cleaned in months, a full deep clean may be the better start. The regular rate applies from the second visit.
