In short: recurring house cleaning means a crew comes on a fixed day, weekly, every other week or monthly, and works through kitchens, bathrooms, dusting and floors from a written checklist. In Cape Coral an every-other-week visit typically runs $120–$160 for a 2 bed, 2 bath home and $140–$190 for a 3/2, as estimates. Most people start with a deep clean, then switch to the regular rate.

How often to book
Every other week is what most Cape households settle on. It keeps bathrooms and kitchen surfaces from building up the kind of film that needs scrubbing, and the floors never get past “needs a vacuum”. Weekly suits homes with several kids, two or more dogs, or someone working from home all day; the per-visit price drops because each visit is lighter work. Monthly works for one or two people who tidy as they go, but expect each visit to cost more, since the crew is dealing with four weeks of dust rather than two.
- Weekly: usually 10–15% less per visit than every other week.
- Every other week: the baseline in our price guide.
- Monthly: usually 15–25% more per visit than every other week.
What every visit covers
- Kitchen counters, backsplash, sink and stovetop cleaned; microwave inside and out
- Appliance fronts and cabinet doors wiped where hands touch them
- Bathrooms: shower, tub, glass, toilet, vanity and mirrors, with soap scum and hard-water film taken off
- Dusting from ceiling fans down to window sills and baseboards in reach
- Beds made, and linens changed when you leave fresh ones out
- Every floor vacuumed, hard floors mopped
- Trash emptied, liners replaced
Anything extra, such as inside the fridge, a load of towels or a lanai sweep, can be added to a single visit or rotated in, say one bathroom deep-scrub each month. Add-ons are priced individually on the price guide.
Why the same crew matters
A crew that sees your house every two weeks learns it. They know the guest bath barely gets used, that the shower door needs the squeegee and the granite gets only pH-neutral spray, and that the cat hides under the left side of the bed. That knowledge is where the time savings come from, and it is why we schedule recurring homes to the same people rather than whoever is free. When someone is off sick or on vacation, we tell you in advance who is coming instead.
Cape Coral homes collect dirt in their own ways
Most houses here are single-story block homes with tile floors, a screened lanai and at least one big slider. Tile shows every paw print and grain of sand. The slider tracks fill with grit from the pool deck. Ceiling fans run nearly all year and pile dust on the leading edge of every blade. In bathrooms, shower glass clouds over from water spotting faster than people expect, especially where sprinklers or older fixtures leave mineral marks. A good recurring routine is built around those things, not around a generic list written somewhere colder.
Pricing that stays put
You get one flat number per visit, set after we know the home. It doesn’t change because a visit ran long. It changes only if the house does, for example a new puppy, extra rooms in use, or a switch from weekly to monthly, and we tell you before the next visit, not on the invoice. There is no contract: you can skip a visit with a couple of days’ notice or stop altogether.
Recurring cleaning questions
Do I have to sign a contract for recurring cleaning?
No. Recurring service carries on until you tell us to pause or stop. A couple of days’ notice to skip a visit is all we ask.
Why is the first visit priced higher?
The first clean takes out the buildup a regular visit never has to face: baseboards, grout, fan blades, the top of the fridge. After that, each visit is maintenance, so the regular rate applies from visit two.
Can I change my cleaning day?
Yes, with a few days’ notice. The aim is to keep you with the same crew, so a new day is chosen around their schedule.
Do you clean on holidays?
Visits that fall on a major holiday move to the nearest working day, and we confirm the change with you the week before.
